Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 July 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
BioVision is provided by Ndlelenhle ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing, or continuing to use BioVision, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. The service
BioVision is an AI-assisted tool that identifies species from photographs and generates conservation, taxonomy, and environmental report content for professional users.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use BioVision for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, or infringing purposes.
- Do not upload content you do not have rights to process.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, probe, or interfere with the service.
- Do not introduce malware or attempt unauthorised access.
4. AI outputs
Species identifications and generated reports are AI-assisted and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them for regulated, professional, or legal purposes.
5. Payments and subscriptions
BioVision Pro costs R450 per month after a 2-day free trial unless cancelled before the trial ends. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles billing, tax, subscription administration, and returns.
6. Refunds and cancellation
See our Refund Policy for details on our 30-day money-back guarantee. You may cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the current billing period.
7. Intellectual property
We retain rights in BioVision, our software, models, and branding. You retain rights in the photographs and notes you upload and grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the service.
8. Liability and availability
BioVision is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Questions may be sent via the Contact page.
